On this Christmas, Jesus provides the formula to your miracle.
Thanksgiving + Generosity =Miracles!
Someone gave their "only" meal to people they barely knew, and Jesus thanked God for it! Before they knew it, 5 loaves and 2 fish package was feeding close to 15,000 people!
Many are waiting for the miracle before they can be generous or grateful. But today, Jesus shows us that Thanksgiving and generosity precede miracles.
Instead of clenching your fist so tightly over what you have, thank God for it and open up to share with the poor, the needy, and the forgotten. God will turn around and fill you up a thousand fold!
You see, when you thank God for what we have and give to the needy, we are essentially inviting Him into our lives and situations. Thanksgiving and generosity invites God. Ingratitude and lack of generosity disinvites Him.
This morning, the miracle you are looking for is already in your hand! The solution to that impossible situation is already in your hand. Come to Jesus with a thankful heart and a tangible gift, and you will see the impossible become possible!
