The doctor said I had to pay $7000

My doctor told me I had to pay $7000 to get my tooth extracted due to an infection. He basically told me there was nothing else I could do. The problem was, I didn't have $7000, and I was distraught over it!

Then, a scripture jumped into my mind. James 5:14 "Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord."

Spiritually, I would be considered the elder in my family, so I didn't know what to do. I remembered my son, who is ten years old, he knows more scriptures than I do. I thought, "I wonder if God considers him an elder?"

So I told him about my tooth and asked him to anoint my head with oil. When I asked him, he immediately quoted David. He said, "Samuel dumped the oil on David's head after he defeated the lion." I was so impressed with his wisdom. I told him we would try his finger first, and then he could dump the oil on my head if it didn't work. lol.

So he placed his finger of oil on my forehead and prayed, "As an elder of the church, I heal you in the name of Jesus. Jesus will dry up your tooth infection."

That night, the infection was gone completely. Completely! I didn't have to break the bank for $7000, and neither did I need surgery. Jesus took care of all that with the prayer of a 10-year-old!

Amazing, amazing, amazing Grace.

Today, I am overwhelmed with Thanksgiving. Seriously, no amount of words will be sufficient to appreciate the extent of God’s grace over my life and that of my family. I end the year with a heartfelt; Thank you, Jesus!

I also challenge you to trust God with any medical condition; new or old diagnoses, infections, chronic conditions, tumors, cancers, etc... Jesus heals all disease!

"Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." (Psalm 103:3)
